Fly Girl of the Week

When I opened my emailbox and saw how many self-nominations I received for Fly Girl of the Week, I was floored. Not only because there were so many but because it was really fantastic to meet more wonderful, talented and inspiring women. It was a pleasure to go through each submission, but very difficult to select ten. Why ten? Well, I really wanted to present a gift to each selected Fly Girl, and currently I only have ten Fly Bags to give away. It took a while but I finally dwindled it down to the ladies you will see in the weeks to come. You'll meet a student, a stay at home mom, artists, and a performer, women from different parts of the country and abroad, with ages ranging from 25 to 36. Remember, everyone is Fly, but I could only choose ten. So, here we are...thank you so much for all your submissions! Who? SueZette, 25
Where? I currently live, work, and play in Atlanta. I was raised in Tampa, Florida.
What do you do? A woman of many talents...lol...I'm currently working on my second Masters in Sociology at Georgia State University, I serve as Research Assistant at a school district in Atlanta, I do freelance writing, I started  my own image consulting firm in late 2006 (I Of The Beholder Image Consulting, Inc.), and I launched an accessories business (I-Cessories) this year.I am also a blogger

    In the next year I hope to finish my first book, which is partly humor, and mostly memoir. My life-long dream and goal is to be a full-time author and the owner of an upscale plus size women's full service boutique. I also hope to one day start a non-profit dedicated to building the self-esteem and confidence of full figured females between the ages of 13-18. I want to teach them that there is beauty in fullness.
What inspires you? I'm inspired by women that give a damn. I'm inspired by women that are fearless, driven, passionate, caring, ambitious, and beautiful reflections of God's divine light. I was blessed to have been raised by a wonderful group of women that not only believed in me, but also taught me to believe in myself. To them, especially my mother, I will always be grateful.
Why are you fly? I'm fly because I know that I'm traveling down the path of infinite possibilities and baby even the sky is limitless. I'm an ambitious young sista looking to make a difference in this world, through word and through action. I've got a 6'1'' complex...and baby...that's nothing to play with.
Advice: Live your dreams. It's the best advice my mother ever gave me and I'm living proof that it is possible.
