The Adventures of Prince Achmed

One of my favorite animated movies is over eighty years old. The Adventures of Prince Achmed was revolutionary for it's time, the amazing paper-cut puppets with beautiful movement and dynamic detail makes this film an animated masterpiece. To learn more about this amazing project click here, and go here for a taste of the film. The video is pretty bad but you get a sense of what's going on. Images via ASIFA.

Lovely Journal Book

I just purchased Sabrina Ward Harrison's latest book, The True and the Questions: A Journal. The collages are really beautiful and I love the little nooks of space for you to write down your thoughts and ideas.
