Back in my New York living days I would frequent the Hell's Kitchen flea market on a lazy Sunday afternoon. One such day I came across a pair of Simple Sew Rag Toys, a duck (pictured below) and a young maiden. I thought they were beautiful but a little expensive. So I tucked them under some fabric hoping no one would find them while I continued browsing the market. Well, when I came to my senses and returned to the stand someone had purchased the young maiden and left the duck. I'm glad I at least got one. I just love the simplicity of the design and the idea of putting together your own toy.
The Rag & Bone blog did a wonderful post on the many posters designed to promote Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Definitely click here to see more.

The New York Times T Style Magazine never ceases to amaze me. The art direction in these photos is superb!
There are three things I am really obsessed with right now:
1. I LOVE Aloe Blacc's album Shine Through. I play it on the way to school, while I'm on the computer and when I'm cooking, EVERYDAY!
2. Neutrogena Triple Moisture® Healing Shine Serum is great in my naturally curly hair. I just started using it and so far so good.
3. Brown Betty is a cute little dessert boutique in Philly and their red velvet cupcakes are ridiculously delicious. I treat myself to one whenever I can.
