Hair Repair
So last week I prematurely wrote good things about my experience at a Philadelphia natural hair salon. I was happy to have finally found a place where I felt really comfortable, and I was excited that I wouldn't have to travel all the way to Brooklyn to get my hair done. That was until I got home. You see, I went to the Philly salon to have my hair trimmed and planned on twisting it when I got home. Well, when I got home and started twisting I was distraught to find that the stylist cut my hair unevenly. It was in bad shape, so much so that I didn't even want to go back for them to fix it. So I went to my tried and true salon in NY. Yes, I trekked all the way there for them to repair the damage, and damaged it was indeed. After a wash and deep condition my hair was blown out for the stylist to access what was really going on, "What did they do to your hair???" she exclaimed. Exactly!!! Okay, so long story short I had to get more hair cut to get it back in shape. It was a very annoying situation, but I'm glad it's resolved and now my tresses can resume to grow back healthily. Wow, your hair looks great! Sorry it was such an ordeal! I've been through that before and it was less than fun.

Your hair looks great! I haven't had the guts to have mine cut at a salon since going natural.

Your hair looks really good. I'm hoping to transition this time around. Its amazing how highly textured hair works: You're length has got between SL and APL, but when shrunken up it seems no longer than a twa.

Have you been to Ms Jesse's? When I move back home I'm plan on going there to get my natural hair done. Out here in Cali all I can get is a press and curl and I want to wear my hair in its natural state but can't find anyone to do it.

Correction to my last comment. I never had issue with the female have of the ownership there!:) As she's the only one who's done my hair at her former place of employment.
But I agree with ericka and would love for you to do the same on your site Ericka!! Always wanted to see more of your locs:( But also my reason for not locing yet not sure if I'm ready to have the one style althought I constantly did alterations even with them in.

I love the chunky two strand twists! Your last post actually inspired me to get rid of my locs...Don't worry It's a good thing. It was like 3AM and I just started chopping it all off! I have been having an urge to twist and "pick" at my hair for some time now. Change is good right! Right now, it is much much shorter than I can bare but in about 6 months it should be at a decent length. Anyhow, I say all that to say...please please do a post on your favorite styles to wear your hair & how you take care of your hair in between the salon settings! Pretty please!!!

bummer, I don't think I've ever got a cut but always had good experiences with them. Matter of fact I don't think anyone has cut my natural now that I think of it:)
Did they cut your hair dry? Not tryna okay the results but that pays a part also in terms of it being even when the texture is altered.
