Who? They call me Sherisa Vassel and I'm 26 
Where? Born and bred in Brooklyn, NY. I still live here. 
What do you do? I am a writer, designer and owner of L'élephant Rose, an online boutique filled with jewelry and hair accessories. 
What inspires you? Music, fashion, weather, my own crazy imagination, my love, reading good work, being around friends. Laughter despite everything. My mother and the stories I remember from my grandmother inspire me. Much of the past, its beauty and pain are major influences as well. 
Why are you fly? I am confident, fearless (left my job to pursue one of my dreams full time) and I'm positive. I am destined for greatness and can still be very humble about it all. I look forward to paying greatness forward. It's all about living to your fullest potential and every day I strive to reach that. 
Advice: Be everything you feel in your heart you are. Live fiercely and passionately. And at then end of the day, give thanks. Give thanks to those who helped you when you were at your worst. Give thanks to the blessings that will follow in the future. And understand living well is not only a right, it's a blessing.
