Where? Born in NYC, raised in the Bronx and now living in New Jersey. I come from a family with Ghanaian roots.

What do you do? I am a jewelry designer. My company is called Design By U. My jewelry consists of bold one of a kind pieces that move the soul. I consider my pieces edgy, eclectic with an ethnic twist."

What inspires you? God, My family and my career. First, I seek God in all I do. Second, my family is my rock, they support me in everything. Third, I am fortunate to come from an entrepreneurial family where I acquired the knowledge and skills necessary for running my own business. My career has blossomed because of this foundation. My family's unconditional support and my past fears drive me. This quote hangs in my studio and it is a daily reminder, which has become a true testimony for me: If you don't like something, change it. Why are you fly? I am fly because I can confidently say, I know my True Purpose. I no longer live in FEAR. I stand in the mirror on a daily basis and tell myself how much I love me and how beautiful I am. I believe you have to know and acknowledge yourself before anyone else can. I'm not afraid to be bold. I will continue to be BOLD through my art and just by being me. I am a high achiever and I live my life with no regrets.
