Who? Minna Salami, 32 years
Where? I've currently ended up in London, after having lived in Nigeria, Sweden, Spain and New York.
What do you do? I’m a hyphenated person. In addition to running the MsAfropolitan blog and boutique I am a freelance writer-social media manager-project manager-dancer-model. I’ve earned my living from these roles in the past and still do to varying extents. I love being able to follow my passions and would like to keep developing MsAfropolitan.
What inspires you? I am inspired by life; the in- and outgoings of human interaction with the environment. I am also inspired by rebels, people who have the courage to be themselves.
Why are you fly? I am fly because I accept myself, and as a result others do too. My life philosophy is compassion.
Advice: Stop worrying about making mistakes! We have an abundance of options in this day and age; where we want to live, what faith we want to follow, whether we want a career or a family or both or none, what kind of work we want to do. These are all important things, but it's equally important to be able to let go, and just experience without worrying if you've chosen the 'best' option.
