Where? Born and residing in Stamford, CT with Caribbean roots in Jamaica.

What do you do? Communications Specialist for an apparel company by day. Blogger and Marketing Consultant by night. I have a natural knack for marketing, creating strategies and connecting people, so I freelance for small businesses and entrepreneurs. I'm extremely passionate about my Caribbean heritage, which is why I created by blog Style & Vibes. I felt there was a need in the blogging community for Caribbean-Americans (Born in the Caribbean and living in the U.S. or 2nd and 3rd generation Caribbeans living in the U.S.) that featured the best of both Caribbean and American cultures.

What inspires you? My family really inspires me because they are so supportive. But also, I'm always amazed at my peers who make power moves in their own right. Nothing is more inspiring than young people successfully creating their own path on their own terms!

Why are you fly? Being fly is definitely a state of mind...I'm Fly because what people think of me does not dictate who I am. I'm not afraid to be myself, be bold, state my opinion and walk with my head up at all times.

Advice: I think it's important to love your life. Don't worry too much about what people think and don't be afraid to envision your dream and make an action plan.
