Last Day for Fly Survey

If you have yet to fill out the Fly Survey please do so by end of day Friday July 18th. If you have, thank you so much for your time, the information collected has been and will be extremely helpful in the future development of Fly.

Simple and Perfect

Here is a great curly hair tip! I've been trying to use less synthetic product in my hair and a friend suggested I try using pure aloe vera gel and a natural oil combo to twist my hair. I used jojoba oil but you can use anything like coconut oil or avocado oil, whatever you like. I tried it and LOVE IT! I used a small amount on each twist and it helped with detangling and it's super healthy for the hair. It also helps minimize the frizz. Try it and let me know what you think. (I tried Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel and liked it better, but it's not as natural as the Trader Joe's version, but try either one).

Fly Party

Here are some pics from my Fly event last Friday. It was a great time and I really appreciated all the support and love from friends, Fly readers and people who just stopped in to see what was going on. It really could not have been done without the help of my wonderful friends; Stan on photography, Ant with music and of course Heather for offering her beautiful space for the event. And my gracious mom who handled all the food, she is so amazing. Her Brazilian treats were DELICIOUS! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Come back tomorrow for more photos.

More Info

Fly_event2 If you are coming to the Fly event you can also stop by Cianfrani Park for a free outdoor performance by Brazilian artist Xande Cruz (which conveniently fits with my Brazilian goodies theme). Below is a map of where the boutique is in relation to the park. ***sorry guys, I just realized the whole map should be rotated ninety degress to the right. I don't have that file with me and can't change it. Hopefully there's no confusion

Here are some screen-printed Fly cards designed and printed by Tory Franklin. She set it up so that each printed card is different. Can't wait to give them out at the party!
